1. What exactly is a VA and how does it work?
Think of a VA as your part-time, remote office manager. You don't need to provides us with a desk, laptop or a pension-we work from our own office. You delegate the administrative tasks that eat into your day and we handle them efficiently in the background, keeping your business running smoothly.
2. Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
Not at all. Our PAYG/Emergency Support requires zero commitment- you just use us when you're in a jam. Our Starter and Growth packages run on a simple month-to-month rolling basis. We want you to stay because we add value to your business, not because you're locked into a contract.
3. I'm located in Hull/East Yorkshire. Do you work locally?
Yes! We are proudly based right here in Hull. While everything we do is handled remotely via phone, email and software, we know the area inside and out. We know the difference between Hessle and Holderness Road, which means we can map your trade routes efficiently and speak to your local customers with genuine local knowledge.
4. How do I hand tasks over to you? I'm rarely at a computer
We make it incredibly easy, especially for trades and busy small business owners. You don't need to type out long emails. Most of our clients send us quick voice notes on Whatsapp while driving between jobs, or text us photos of scribbled quotes. If you can use Whatsapp, you can work with us.
5. What is the "Weekly Admin Check-In" and do I have to do it?
Its a quick 15-minute phone call (completely van-friendly!) where we sync up for the week ahead. You dump your brain to us-telling us exactly what jobs you've finished, who needs an invoice and what your diary priorities are. It acts as a business reset button and ensures nothing slips through the cracks. While highly recommended to keep you organised, we can adapt the communication style to whatever suits your business best.
6. What happens if I outgrow my package?
We track our time meticulously. If we notice your business is having a crazy busy month and we are getting close to your package limit, we will flag it with you immediately. We will never surprise you will an unexpected bill- we'll simply discuss popping you onto a PAYG rate for the remainder of the month or upgrading your package.
